New Delhi: India’s Public broadcaster Prasar Bharti acting CEO Suresh Chandra Panda who was Member Personnel, took charge of the office on Friday.
Panda said after assuming office, that implementing board’s decision and looking into grievance of promotion of workers will be his top most priority.
He said the decision of PB board relating to policies and programming are very important and to be given priority.
Panda is an IAS officer of 1981 batch of Assam Meghalaya cadre and retired as Special Secretary & Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Home Affairs on 28.02.2015.
A Post Graduate in Political Science from Utkal University, Odisha, M. Phil in Public Administration from Punjab University and MBA (Public Services) from University of Birmingham, U.K.
During his long and outstanding stint in public service, Shri Panda has handled many important Ministries/Departments and offices in Government of India as well as State Governments of Assam and Odisha. Before joining IAS, he was an IPS officer of 1978 batch of Uttar Pradesh Cadre, where for his exemplary services, he was decorated with President’s Medal.
