Bhubaneswar: In order to boost tourism in the State the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) in collaboration with Biju Patnaik airport authorities will launch a golden triangle tour programme for the benefit of tourists on a pilot basis in the first week of June. The tour package will cover the golden triangle circuit of Bhubaneswar-Puri-Konark. The package would cost roughly Rs. 650/- per head depending on the response of passengers.
The OTDC may increase the numbers of Buses in the future said OTDC General Manager Sri M. R. Patnaik. The tour plan is aimed at attracting more people to Odisha by air said airport Director Sharad Kumar. All the airlines have been asked to keep informing the passengers about the golden triangle tour plan. After the new terminal become operational action will be taken to ensure more passengers. Flow into the tourists spot in the state as said by airport authority.
