Human Rights Commission Serves Notice to Odisha Govt over Dengue

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) taking sou motu cognizance over rise in dengue cases across the State has served notices seeking details in 2 weeks time from the Secretaries of departments of Health and Urban development and district collectors of eight districts affected with dengue outbreak.

While the dengue cases in the states has risen to 426 with the highest number of cases detected in the Keonjhar district. Over 25 cases have been identified in Cuttack.

Total number of cases undergoing treatment in SCB medical college and hospital has reached 36 with one patient stated to be in critical condition and has been put in the ICU.
