Odisha: BJP President Amit Shah Slams BJD Govt at a Rally in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah on Friday slammed the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) government in Odisha for failing to provide basic needs to the common man of the State. Speaking at a rally named Jan Jagran Maha Samavesh here in Bhubaneswar, Shah was critical of the BJD government by questioning what CM Naveen Patnaik has done in his 17 years rule for the development of Odisha?

Shah added, the government failed in overall development, even basic facility like drinking water for all has not yet been ensured by the state government. Lack of employment opportunities within the state has forced the youths of Odisha to go to other States in search of livelihood.”

The BJP President said that the NDA government has provided sufficient funds through various central government schemes to Odisha but the state government never let the schemes reach the common man, alleged Shah.
